Course Objectives:
Participants after the conclusion of the course will be able to:
- Recognize theories of generation of tinnitus and the different aetiological causes.
- Learn management strategies, including recent techniques like transcranial magnetic stimulation, deep brain stimulation and vagal nerve stimulation
- Review the evidence base of well established treatments like TRT and sound therapy will be discussed.
- Study a model of organization for multidisciplinary tinnitus clinic and the practical aspects of creating a specialized treatment pathway.
- CME Information: The Audiology Unit designates this course for Continuous Medical Education. Participants on completion of this course will earn 9 CME hours
